    Hey all,

I did this list before the first capertee ride I ever did. Got me thinking about making up the ultimate tool kit, below is my list, what can be added, what can be removed, remember it has to be self sufficient and as light as possible, is their better tools that can do multiple tasks??

Feel free to add / remove or just comment.

    Cheers
    Chris.

What would the spring puller be for?

Hacksaw blade what would this be for besides trackside amputation.

Well here is what I carry after years of trail riding. It is made of stuff that has stood the test of time, shit has been thrown out that hasn’t made the grade.
    P1020711Medium.jpg
Here in one of the side pouches is the sockets (8, 10, 12, and 14mm) maybe two 8 and10mm’s there is a sliding tee bar and extension. There is a lighter, lock wire and electrical tape.
    P1020718Medium.jpg
Other side pouch has, hose clamps, joining links ( all types, O ring, Z ring etc ), piece of 520 chain, spark plug and spark plug holder to look after the good one, chain breaker and plate installer, valve tool and CO bottle adapter.
    P1020720Medium.jpg
Nuts, bolts and misc items etc
    P1020721Medium.jpg
Pump, reversible screw driver, fuel hose
    P1020723Medium.jpg
Cable ties, rubber gloves, spare rear brake pads ( muddy rides chop them to pieces ) the red roll is a special type of tape used to wrap up split hoses, salastic and quick metal.
    P1020724Medium.jpg
Spanners, spark plug spanner, pilers, wheel spanners, spare levers, gear stick and spoke spanner, Multi purpose knife, broken hacksaw blade

I look at it like this, as TB and the organiser I have a responsibility to people that are following me, but having said that I have become so complacent that I don’t even take it with me, I didnt take it on both the last 300km+ rides because its a Honda
