Heres the installed pic of the ballards mixture screw (07 wr250) And I actually got to speak to the man himself! Seriously nice bloke. Any way he reckons to get the wr2fiddy on the ball is obviously to get the jetting right, add a high compression piston, a pipe (they have tested a few, depends on who sponsors them to what pipe they use this year is acroprovic) but he recomended the staintune for all round perfomance and value full system 6hunge and the hot cams for inlet they are adjustable crank em all the way in for power up top and all the way out for power off the bottom and they are only $195 plus install geoff reconds if your smart you could install them in about 1hr there Mechanics do em in about 15 mins. do all that add all your protection and you have a giant killer! GO THE BLUE!!

Sure but why Moto, Ben Grabham won Finke this year on a CRF 450 that was stock, including valves, had a vortex and a T4 exhaust and jetting cleaned up, Jason Hills was worked but not the winning bike, stock Chicken and I saw the whole thing, Finke is all about suspension and horse power

I wasn’t advocating it was a good thing. I just asked if you can get them!

That said if you can ride like Grabbo you don’t need a worked bike anyway. I was more thinking they might, in ccertain circumstances, be useful for tuning power delivery as opposed to just generating as much horsepower as possible :)

I know very well suspension is paramount. I could have had a 50cc moped and not used the power with my suspension as it was on those (small) rocks on the Orange ride.
