Ok here we go,this is just a venting session so please join in.
We all love trail riding, some people like myself, like to organise these rides and lead them and organise stops and other activities for the ride, however every so often something on the ride just gets right under your skin and peees you off no end.
What is it?????

July 19, 2010 at 2:01 am #184119Being too serious about covering miles, I’m here to have fun, not clock up kilometres, I’d rather ride for 3 hours of a challenging fun ride, stopping every so often to go back and do it again or have a Ciggy and a debrief, than to go non-stop until it all melds into one singular experience.
And wankers, I dislike riding with wankers, who get off on besting others by trying too hard

July 19, 2010 at 2:24 am #184130Going to all the trouble of organising a ride and a feed for them and someone freaking whinges. NO whingers after the Poker run though.
July 19, 2010 at 2:36 am #184134All you buggers who live right next to the best trails and I have to travel over an hour just to find somewhere to ride oh yeah and middle eastern fanatics are a bunch of wankers too
July 19, 2010 at 2:37 am #184131If your going to look at the bad (cause there are a fair few) things about organising rides I would suggest you dont run them  I have run rides between Cape York and Vic, 2 and 40+ riders and the good out weighs the bad when you calm down and think about it
Just a thought

Well said TB,although I still don’t like being critisised by someone that has never or would never organise a ride themselves.
July 19, 2010 at 2:50 am #184137Who upset the Wauhopian today?
July 19, 2010 at 3:02 am #184138And sometimes you’ve just gotta vent to your mates and get it off yer chest, or it will colour your experience.
I agree the good does outweigh the bad, but there are certain rides I will not go on if I know a certain couple of people are going to be on them (and no they are not members here) cause they sh1t me to tears with their “Pro-rider” attitudes.
BTW Boony you didn’t answer your own Q?

July 19, 2010 at 3:14 am #184140I hate it when you have volunteered to be the BBQ bitch and the BBQ is virtually waiting to become the next chernobyl!
No seriously I agree with what Mick has said, organising a ride is not as easy as it appears and some people dont appreciate the work that goes into it.
What gets under my skin is when you post a cornerman and he doesnt stay there, the amount of Kaos that can create can be a worry.
