Had a few queries about this ride. I don’t have anything to do with the organisation of the ride but I just received this from the people who are. It’s a great venue and a great track, so should be a good weekend. This is the first year it has been run.
Something to think about over Easter,
The Upper Horton Motorcycle Trail Ride, 19 & 20Th May
Thomas-Lee Motorcycles is sponsoring a two day trail ride at Upper Horton on the 19th & 20Th May, this will be a run by the Moree Motorcycle Club and assisted by the staff off Thomas-Lee Motorcycles and many of the local land owners & community of Upper Horton. I have included a map of the location and a short You Tube Video to check out the lay of the land.
• Camping will be at the Upper Horton Rodeo Ground and food and refreshments will be available from the Horton Sportsman’s Club just across the road.
• Note that there is no fuel available in Upper Horton however we may able to change this before the date and will let you know.
• There are showers and toilets and there will be fire wood available for camp fires.
• Cost of the two day Trail ride will be $60 per rider for the two days plus $25 for a Motorcycling NSW recreational rider license and riders levee.
• If you already have a Motorcycling Australia License you will only have to pay $5 for the riders levee plus the $60 for the two days.
• There will be a short track for the PW’s and Mini bikes approximately 4 kilometers in length
• For the senior riders and the older junior riders there will be a trail of approximately 30 kilometers , with a refuel and refreshment stop at about the 20 kilometer point with a break off harder trail of about 12 kilometers.
• There are will be some designated hill climbs that you can stop off at and try your bike skills at.

• All pre entry’s will go into a draw with a chance to win a new Honda CRF50 Mini Bike.
• There will a website up and running in a few weeks time with even more details available.
If You have had the opportunity to ride one of the Upper Horton Pony Express races you will know how good the riding is, if not then this is your chance for a great weekend of dirt bike riding .
