Ah Mrs Lotsa welcome pity it was under such worrying circumstances  Imagine the being the poor farmer woken with Wayne standing at the screen door with his lop sided grin at 3.30am

Thanks to Boony whom I woke last night, Pep and everyone’s offers of help, thank god for Mickp and Scott the legends. I sat up until 2.45am mapping all the routes he could have used and loaded my GPS. I got all my gear out and the Tenere ready to go. What was I going to do I wasnt sure as I thought he could be anywhere even in Yengo on his way for example  I was going to ride out the Putty rd and go up through Singleton into Moonan Flat. I had thoughts of getting Moose and the Mayor onto Knowandoc rd area and Boony up his end.

I did a ride through Sofala, Sunny Cnr and Capertee the other week (Should do my report) and I did it on my own. I rang Mal5.1 and let him know where I was and when I would be at locations I rang him a couple of times (there was no phone range 80% of the time) but it highlighted for me the need to get a spot tracker these are a great piece of kit and they have different buttons to let different people know of your situation good bad or really bad. If you followed the spot thread on the Camerons ride well you know how good they are.

Dont buy one yet though I am hoping to make an announcement this week regarding a new forum sponsor who will sell them cheap to us ;)

Again welcome Mrs Lotsa, now make him take you Christmas shopping today as penalty

    Hi to you all,
Its gus1904,lotsas father in law ,I dont ride a bike Im too full of arthritis and long in the tooth, and my bones creak anhd hurt heaps, but i just want to say what a great bunch of people you seem to be!the saga of last night seemed to bring out in people a spirit that has mainly deserted the human race in general?(so wonderful to be proved wrong)to those of you who lost sleep and got up early this morning,I will do the DEED for you I will kill Him with my own bare hands ,(after Ive welcomed him back from the ??????? or wherever, hugged him and told him how desperately worried we were)
We had followed a couple of trips your group has done, and now would like to meet up some time in the future(assuming Lotsa is still in the club)but we will do so with the holden and caravan in tow!
Once again Guys and Gals Sincere thanks Gus and Myra(who is in nz and wont believe what the son in law has done this time!) :cheer:

Good too see alls well or going to be its a little bit of what could have been for me two days ago

Went riding on my own told the cook i was goinf riding but that doesn’t mean where or that she would have been able to find me

Went down a shitty hill only to find a creek crossing , long story short

it was too deep and too fast and i thought the wr and i were goin g to end up in wyangla after some frantic struggling and swearing i managed to hold the bike and drag on to a tussock mound
its scary when you only have hold of the handlebars and thats all u can see trying to stop it going over a waterfall any way got it out and home

Moral to the story we all can be complacent at times let people know some more explicit instructions when on your own

Don’t give lotsa too much curry today …………………leave it too tmoz

Really glad to hear lotsa’s ok ,
I think their will be a few spot trackers on old bulls Christmas lists. I take mine on every ride now , it’s very cheap insurance.

    Gezzus Lotsa,,,
What have you done????? Wouldn`t like to be in your shoes on arrival back home at all

Great to hear that it all worked out ok (I was sound asleep all night after a quite a few ales with a mate) I would have been off in the Cruiser at a moments notice though if needed to find Lotsa…. Funnily enough, we were only talking about the Spot Tracker as well & what an ideal bit of gear they are for exactly this kind of situation ;)
Look forward to the deal on the trackers if there is one, reckon it will be a big buy from Old Bulls far & wide :)

Look forward to hearing the story when it breaks from Wayne too,,,, B)
