well fellas, im looking at getting off my fat ar$e and trying to organise a weekend ride up in the beautiful victorian high country!
the welcome goes out to all victorian OBTs and thier friends….any anyone from the northern states too!!!
im lookong for E.O.I to stay at this joint…www.bushexperiences.com.au
i have never been there and only stumbled across thier site the other day while trawling the internerd.
it looks like a wicked place to go…a comfy bed, hot showers, maps, guidance (i will need it!) and food is supplied and cooked for a measly $180 bucks a head for 2 nights!!, just bring your bike, gear, piss, clothes and sleeping bag…..they do the rest….hey presto!!:woohoo:
im open to any dates in….
JUNE… (i reckon queens birthday will be booked already, but i
havent asked them yet)
EARLY JULY…. (as to not mess with people going to nundle)
AUGUST…. (my birthday is the 28th, and the festivities last all month:woohoo: )
EVEN NOVEMBER maybe?there may even be snow cover during these times (if were lucky), so it might be cool for any of you northerners that have never seen it, let alone ride in it!!!!
there will be riding to suit all levels, and plenty of drinking by all:laugh:
who is keen??????????

April 22, 2009 at 1:21 am #129812Hi Meance, August sounds good to me and I may have one or two mates who would like to come and play.
I will run it past them and get back to you, pricing sounds excellent.
Bill.
April 22, 2009 at 2:07 am #129813Dear Mr Menace,
after some consideration, i don’t think i’ll be coming if all these celebrities continue to add their expressions of interest!
.
. after all no one wants to look like a total tool in front of their heros! :silly:
August sounds like the most favored month so far.
which dates? saturday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd or 29th?
how many days are we looking at? i’m maybe in for turning up on a wednsday/ thursday and leaving for home on the monday / tuesday.
so i’ll most likely aim to be up for riding fri/sat/sun.
anyone between Deniliquin to Mansfield that maybe interested in going i may have a spot on a ute/ trailer for another bike.

as i said, i havent spoken to the good people up there yet but it looks like it can accomodate up to 23, (if a couple of you like sleeping together) LOL:ohmy: it says……
Four large bedrooms, named after Lake Eildon’s feeder rivers provide a combination of bedding.
Delatite: 1 Queen sized bed
2 Bunks
(6 beds total)
Jameison: 1 Queens sized bed
1 Bunk
(4 beds total)
Big River: 1 Double Bed with Bunkover
2 Bunks
(7 beds total)
Upper Goulburn: 1 Double Bed with Bunkover
1 Bunk
(5 beds total)there is a pic on thier website that has about 30 bike riders out the front…..i guess they fitted them in somehow!
although im sure there will be “swag” room there, and boony will probably sleep in the room containing the royal daulton (ie-cuddling the dunny)
, if hes man enough to make the trek down to the “southern” section of gods country!
Billt….the more the merrier mate! (i will let you know when the 300 is ready for another onslaught in the meantime)

sammy and i will be there fri, sat, sun…..whichever weekend we go. i will ask about your extended stay when i speak to the good people up there soon.
and just to tempt yous all some more, i read in thier site that all the food is cooked outdoors where possible….

you havent ridden in “high country” till youve ridden in VICTORIAN high country, ya puss:P get of your lazy butt and come down. it will be 4 to 6 weeks before louee, so you will have plenty of time to make a few bucks sellin your ar$e:woohoo:cheifgili,
its around mansfield, 25km south-east to be precise-ish. check out thier site (link in first post) or google map it. id love you to come. i read somewhere your a sailor, hope your ship will be in dock with a flat tyre or something:P i will check for track closures as we get closer to a date, but ive ridden around there (kind of) in the past and there were plenty open. (ive been sometimes known to bend the law for a good ride in the past anyway;) )XY….looks like you have won sammys heart, you were doin pretty good with the chocky schnapps, then the rocky road and brownies got her jumpin. you have a new best friend:woohoo:
