It’s been some considerable time since the Vor turned a wheel in anger. In fact it was on an Old Bull ride in Clarence but I couldn’t tell you that date or even the year!

Well a couple of old mates have shamed me into attending a reunion of sorts in July. Planned ride is around Oberon and Sunny Corner for three days…and knowing Oberon as I do, I know it won’t be real cold that time of year either!

Now, I haven’t swung a leg over a bike for years and I know the bike itself is ready, since I prepped it up to be sold late last year and to be frank, I’m freaking out a little!

Oh well, time to dig out the old tubes, re-pack the tools into Mr. Eldridge’s bumbag and hope for the best.

Photos to come (hopefully not the hospital ones!)

    Shanevor?
It has been a long time since I read any of your posts, have never seen a vor in the flesh either. Post up some pics if your bored. Has the vor been in storage for all these years or running?

Mate, wouldn’t dare complain! Still in the same place, if you’re up for a rum or two let me know where and when and I’ll have some in the fridge in the back of the car just for the occassion!

Twobanger, the bike has been hanging up on a rope in the shed all this time. I brought it down to try and sell but she’s still here. I’ll take some photos of her before she gets dirty and I imagine there’ll be pics and maybe the odd little movie of our ‘adventure’.

A weekend away on the bike…I won’t be able to move on the Monday!

Welcome back, looking forward to seeing this beast resurrected.
Just ease in mate, what’s going to be freaky is how the tracks have changed in all that time.some tracks I ride change a lot in six months let alone years, but the good thing is it will be like new tracks to get amongst.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Hopefully the old girl treats me well after ignoring her for so long!
I’ll try to attach a current pic. Should bring back some memories for the older Vorites among us!
