May 28, 2009 at 12:15 pm #137081That’s a shame p-nut!
Mick best of luck mate, the more the merrier I reckon!
If anyone is nervous about meeting I’ll be in a silver triton and meeting at the service station just off the freeway at 830. To get there from the freeway take the mandalong road exit and head east and you’ll come to a roundabout. Turn right and you’ll see a caltex straight away.
If not see you at the oval at 9!
p.s I’ve been chipped about using the internet at work so I won’t be checking on here too much tomorrow so if you request my mobile number via PM make sure you send yours too and I’ll just text or call you to give you my number.

I may or may not have somersaulted the tractor on its last outing resulting in a weld job where the stand attaches to the frame and a new gear selection device.I’m gunna throw the tyre I got off you on the back as well as get a new S12 for the front.Add a new chain and sprocket set and I’ll be good to go
Just in time for you to get your helmet cam ready for me to do something spectacular :blink:May 28, 2009 at 12:18 pm #137088I’ve got my camera in order this time and I’ve just reattached my barkbusters after I lost the expanding/dynabolt part last ride.
Unfortunately my father in law stashed my new grips out in the shed and I’ve only just spotted them and don’t have grip glue or wire so I wont get to put them on.
Got nice and pumped sticking my head in the shed to see my bike though!
May 28, 2009 at 12:20 pm #137089woohoo cant wait mate probably be the week after Bulls ride.
Ollie
May 28, 2009 at 12:21 pm #137090Woah 150 posts already?!
P-dub I don’t want to take any business away from the sponsors but racers edge do a good deal on DID x rings and sprockets. I paid $200 for an 512(I think) x ring, hardened front and regular rear sprocket delivered.

Trent you dont need grip Glue, you can use many different ways there is a thread on here somewhere that has heaps of info. Petrol works good. The wire is used to stop any mud or water getting in under the grip, you can do that anytime.

P_nut  Maybe that should have been my user name ?
The only thing I’d be nervous about following you in that Triton would be that it’d break down and cause an accident :laugh:I remember you referring to your mate Ben that “Has a real job” and cant be on the Internet all day.Enjoy your day at your real job mate
Have a good ride>I think it may be a muddy one :woohoo:May 28, 2009 at 12:34 pm #137092Austblue wrote:

May 28, 2009 at 12:39 pm #137093Haha yeah I almost started a thread about it but you’d all think I was a nutter! I finally got it back after a month of getting stuffed around!
Cheers Ollie, I’ll have a search now.
May 28, 2009 at 1:23 pm #137095How good is this place!? I found the thread and will pick up some leccy tape and if I get home in time tomorrow night I might do it but I don’t want to chance not having them spot on for saturday.
Cheers (and karma) for the tip ollie and cheers to ECKS for posting it earlier he’ll get some karma too!
May 28, 2009 at 7:06 pm #137097I use hair spray on the grips, but it needs 12 hrs or so to set properly
May 28, 2009 at 10:18 pm #137100No matter what I use I’d rather let it cure and unfortunately I have to go out to dinner tonight to keep the boss happy enough to let me ride so it wont happen tonight. Funny thing was for the last couple of nights I’ve asked my in-laws if any parcels have come and they said no so I’d even gone back to the bloke on ebay to check he sent them then when I went out into the shed and saw them sitting on my bike I just had to shake my head :pinch:

She looks pretty happy in the photo there under your name :kiss:May 28, 2009 at 11:55 pm #137110I’ve said this before, if she was my boss I wouldn’t need a bike to ride!
And probably couldn’t afford one!
