I’m looking for a DR250R or DR-Z 250, in good nick, either registered or able to be registered. Not looking to spend much, so let’s say under $2,500 for a good one. Just missed a beauty in Canowindra for $1800 – bugger!
Would also consider a DR350 in good nick, but those buggers are hard to find, especially in decent condition.
Just something that I can ride when I do get a chance (ie rarely!) and not feel guilty if it sits gathering dust in my shed for 6 months! I’m keen to get back on the trails and shock the sh!t out of a few blokes who will undoubtedly judge my riding skills by my bike!

Shoot me a PM or call me on 0428 680 351 if you can help me out!
December 3, 2012 at 7:13 am #233178The later model DR350 is a good thing Ecks. I nearly bought one before I got the Husky. Some say the DRZ400 was a backwards step from the 350.
What about an RMX? plenty of them going cheap.

Yeah, like the idea of the 350, but they are rare and good ones are not cheap, well, not as cheap as my budget! Been looking for one for ages as a project, thought I had one there for a while but it fell through.
Why not an RMX? Well, because deep down inside, I love my 250 4-strokes, and have a soft spot for the DR & DRZ’s! I have never been a 2-stroke bloke, although I have ridden some crackers. I feel comfortable on a 250 4-t and that’s about it!
December 5, 2012 at 11:00 am #233183OK blokes, who in the Port Macquarie area can check out a bike for me? Yet to hear from the advertiser, but hope to have more info tomorrow. :S
Dunger or diamond… which will it be?!

December 6, 2012 at 5:40 am #233318No, thanks mate, that one is off the market. Appreciate your willingness to help out though! Beers on me when we get together next!

Wow. It did look clean. I’ll offer him half for you and see how it goes.
