    Anyone got any xr 500 bits- 1982-

    I am after a head, plastic sidecovers , airbox, instruments, lights…. Or tell me what you got!!

    Gyday Scott, Mate I just picked myself up an 82 XR500 :woohoo: But unfortunatley she didnt come with any spares (I need a rear mudgaurd ;) )Are you doing a resto?

    Yeh I wanted to put out the feelers for spares to get this bike closer to original than it is at present. I have a couple of xl 500 motors and one xr motor as spares- but the xr motor is missing the head and reed assembly. I dont have any plastic /chassis spares either but my guards are there- though not fantastic. If I can help with engine spares that you need send me a message.
