Just think about this thread next time you see some peanut burried to his swingarm and full on roosting trying to move an un moveable object or you see a forby full on flogging out a trail just so he can get to the top of a hill he doesnt even need to get to.
This closure sh%t p*s*es me off like everyone else, but what you see on thrails make you wonder when they were handing out brains some people thought they said trains and held the door open for everyone else.

That rant will cost you 2bob.

I think it pretty damn sure they will start to be closed soon :(

Apparently the Watagan gates have infared motion sensing cameras in places too (to try & catch the ratbags that like to destroy them) only making acces harder to keep  As if it aint bad enough already

 Once biten, Twice shy hey Boonster ??????????

    They aren`t that bed :P

Once closed, no trail maintenence needed ,,,,, not that there was any to start with

When I rode thru the Watagans to get to Sunny corner the main trail thru was freshly graded & smooth as,,,
On return on the Sunday and after a couple of days rain  It was TRASHED and like sweet mother of Jesus hill
There had been numerous 4×4`s up there and the ruts & chopped up sections were slippery as the good old Dog on Lino stuff at Nundle  And that was only the main rd thru the middle, let alone the singles :(

went for a quick ride up there this morning on the South Side, there is now a gate at Maculata, Daniels Point Rd (not far from Watagans forest Rd) and also one on Whitemans also near Watagans Forest Rd. As Eags said the Watagans forest Rd has just been bulldozed and with the recent rain is churned up and slippery as all hell. I can see a lot of bikes will be covering their rego plates and riding around these gates. In all reality it is the 4wd’s that have done the majority of the damage  Flash looking Galvanised gates as well.
