DanD,Austblue good reports and pics guys.Top stuff.If it’s true that Trent and Ben have only been riding for a few months you killed it and should hold your heads up high.Dont think for a minute that you held us up,on the contrary>old guys like Ollie and I need all the rest periods we can get :laugh:
As for our negotiating skills it’s just a matter of riding there for a number of years.As the rest of the boys will tell you I got disorientated for a while late in the day too :blush:
That was definitely one of the best rides I,ve been on for quite a while but I felt pretty ordinary on Sunday morning.
Like DanD said good company,good riding and when everyone pitches in with riding,sweeping,cooking and taking pics/video it makes for an excellent day out That it appears is the real Old Bulls spirit.Hope to ride with all of you guys again soon.

Yeh Trent you guys went good,hope to see you up here again sometime. If you had done this ride with a trail tours mob it would cost you easily $100. This is definatley one of the big pluses for this forumB)

Yeh Trent trail tours would charge you a hundred plus for that ride.Old Bulls is cheap as! only $50 :silly:

cheers for the kind words guys. Unfortunately it looks like you guys might be stuck with me for a while because I quite like it over here and Ben and I certainly enjoyed the spirit of the ride on the weekend so we’ll be looking to join you again when we can.

Yeah I saw that but I’m booked out for ben’s missus’ 30th that day. I’m tying to drag my brother up the following saturday though so I’ll post up when I lock him in.

Don’t read me wrongly either – we loved the pace, just weren’t sure if you guys were getting held up because we were hitting it as fast as we were capable and sometimes maybe faster than that. As I said in the other thread though there’s only one way to find out what you’re capable of and that’s to push it and we’re not going to get any better plodding around with a bunch of guys taking it easy.

What I meant is that the back couple of people in some other rides will hold a slower pace enabling you boys to sit and cruise or get up front with the faster boys and go as fast as you want

The last ride was relatively quick at the slowest boys on the ride were still going pretty quick Meaning that you hardly ever get a real break
