My next ride will hopefully be at KTMBULLS which I have really been hanging out for and I dont want to risk tearing out the stitches or doing something stupid to it. Have fun on your ride boys:( it sucks being injured:angry:

    Hey Moto
Son of Murph (Smurf) and I will be there, providing you let us know where Dunks Lane is:unsure:
The Dude and I went for a ride yesterday starting at the Junction of Walkers Ridge Rd and Wollimbi Forest Rd. Followed some nice singles down to the Basin then headed north and down Koala Trail (nice track). We had hoped to come out onto Watagan Ck Rd but something went wrong and we ended up back up on Murrays Run Rd. Had hoped to come up Wave Rock Rd ending nearly exactly at the car.:)
    Maybe next time:unsure:
Had to put the 525 over to reserve after only 72kms:( :( :(
Tracks were hell slippery after all that rain but still had a ball:woohoo: :woohoo:
    Cheers
    Murph:cheer: :cheer:

Lotsa may have a couple extra.

Look on google maps and type in Dunks Lane and you can see where it is. I’ll have a chat to young Gili if I can get hold of him and confirm the start point later as we need to bear fuel in mind too. I think Dunks Lane could be the go though as we’ll do all that loop without needing to refuel.

Ollie’s loop is a good one, I’m still keen to get onto the section where the rio is though. Maybe have to skip that (again) this time. We could maybe even do Maculata backwards and up Hitchcocks?

What do you reckon Gili? I’ll PM you my phone number if you haven’t already got it, give me a call if you get the chance :)

Moto, I’m keen but dont know if other mates of mine want to do this ride or one of our own.
There would be 3 or 4 of us, would that be ok?
If not we can easily ride as a separate group.

WKB you are more than welcome to come. The only thing is to ensure that everyone is comfortable with Grade 4+ riding conditions otherwise Austblue’s ride maybe better sorted :)

The conditios are likely to be wet and boggy and I don’t want anyone to struggle and get injured (least of all me :P).

    This note is to everyone:

There will be tricky, rocky, muddy slippery uphills and downhills and the pace will be reasonable. Help will of course be given where required but there is the expectation that most can look after themselves :)

    Haha you cheeky monkey!

I had a chat with Gili last night and we have put together a decent provisional loop with a couple of options thrown in depending on how we are going time/fuel/energy wise.

We will start from Dunks Lane which is just off Jilliby Road on your way towards Dooralong lodge. Coming in from the Wyong end you turn off Hue Hue Road at the cemetry, get onto Jilliby Road and Dunks Lane is a few K’s down on your left. There is a little grassy area to park your cars.

It looks like we will start off on Boyds and works our way to panadol Hill, Prick Hill all of which will be single track with bits of twin track thrown in. We’ll head down Maculata and onto Jilliby Road before jumping back in and making our way up Hitchcocks. Once we are back on Watagan Forest Road we can have a break and decide where we want to go from there as there are a couple of options.

There are a couple of hard sections, we will stop at these sections and do them as a group, it adds to the banter anyway :P

I’m looking forward to it already!

No worries mate, me and able seaman Gili are on the case ;) We’ve got showers on and off all week leading up to it to so the conditions could be ‘testing’ :woohoo:
