AnonymousThanks Ollie;)
May 28, 2009 at 11:12 am #137054Ollie, do any of the bikes in your massive shed work in any place other than the Wattos? I reckon you take them off the trailer at the Pines, kick ’em in the guts like a thoroughbred and just hold on…..the bike just knows where to go on its own!

Scratch that, I was thinking you are meeting at the usual place in cooranbong.

AnonymousYeah the last time I went riding from Dooralong I got off the freeway at Morisset but just wasn’t sure if this was the best way. I might try the Sparks Road exit on Saturday and see. I think I will leave home early in case it all turns to s**t and I get misplaced.
May 28, 2009 at 11:23 am #137061Nah Dan defnatley get off at sparks rd. Type Dunks lane Jilliby in your car GPS and it will get you there

Quote:Hey guys, Dont suppose I could tag along for the ride? Done a bit of riding in the watagans a while back, but not many mates riding at the moment.Pretty sure I know where your talking about meeting and super keen to ride whatever pops up, if you dont mind the smell of 2 stroke!
Leddy – Firstly congrats on joining up with Old Bulls, it’s nice to have another local member on board:)
You are more than welcome to come along for the ride. You seem to know the area and I assume you know some/all of the tracks we are talking about. For your safety/enjoyment I just want to emphasise that this will be quite a challenging ride with steep slippery hills, rocky slippery uphills and the like. I’m not trying to put you off just checking you know what to expect. If you are happy with that then see you tomorrow
May 29, 2009 at 8:39 am #136220Hey Moto- Thanks. Not sure how old you need to be an ‘old bull’ but if I’m honest with myself, I’m sure I qualify.
So start time is still 8am?
Unless its raining and really crap weather I’ll be there! And yep, think I’ve done most of the big hills in there, so the wet should make it a fun day out. The names ring a bell and remember reo sections you mentioned.
Cheers.

I might have cup of tea and toast for breakfast instead of concrete and see if Austblue has a spot.
There has been talk of riding high and dry at Letter A on Sunday if anyone interested.

AnonymousI’m going to bail as well, it’s torrential rain here and after last weekend I’m not keen to get soaking wet again. Sorry guys.
Gili is still going and will be there at the start time. If you boys decide against doing the tricky loop you can maybe join up with AustBlue;s ride meeting at Martinsville oval at 9:00am

So the leader bailed on the hard core ride, cracks me up  especially after a week of warning everyone about it
I would rather spend my birthday warm in bed instead of wet on a bike
Thanks for waking our whole house at 5 to 6 this morning Moto
