Beautiful day for a ride, not too hot. Just me and Joe showed. We left the Letter A at about 8.30am and rode single track pretty much all the way to the Pines.

There is a state enduro in three weeks and someone has gone to town cleaning the brush away form some single trail and cutting new stuff. It is absolute bliss.

Went looking for the Koala Track and took a wrong turn and ended up going down the Great North Walk snotty downhill with big erosion mounds and boulders that brings you down to Watagan Creek Rd.

Found the Koala Track which has a few more tracks cut in now or I didn’t notice them before. Only had to drag the bikes under one fallen tree.

Then it was heading back to the Basin where we found some more new trails and back to the cars. We were sitting a Jerry’s cafe for a feed at 1pm.

We covered 95km. Probabley 65km of that was single trail and had about seven short breathers. I’m buggered.

Sorry, no photos because I was having too much fun to stop.

    lotsa

Sounds like a good ride lotsa. I’d like to get out with you boys and see some of that end of the Wattie’s. I have a feeling I may have been on the Koala trail before (even though I have no real idea where it is!) :)
