    Hi onthrun(Paul),

Thanks for posting up your experience. I’m sure the techo heads out there will have a smirk reading your experience. You did well to recover and I’m wishing I was firmer in my offer to drive you home. I’m just glad you didn’t do the nake thing when cleaning the carbie thingy as that could have got messy. I’m looking forward to riding with you again… take care.

last night battery went flat as i was thanking everyone so i’ll try again…….the 3 quicks (darren scotty and ben) were all riding 300 exc’s so with paul and me that made 5 out of 7 bikes on ride, smokers…i love the smell of 2t in the morning…..maybe making a comeback….paul you’d look good on a 450 ktm..or for that matter a 450 anything..you could call it katie :P ..i;d love a ride on ronnie but she looks a bit racy for me..thnks for organising the ride katgirl and thanks to ben for good singles in the first half of the day..initially i thought the trails too tough for the girls but didnt count on their grit, they may need new tyres and different lines but they sure dont need new tickers..hope to see you all at KOWEN forest https://www.dsmra.asn.au/index.php a DSMRA ride on 11 april..thanks again for a great day….russ

We missed the turn off to Milfield by about 10km… should never discount the private road sign. We rode back. Once I saw that bridge we needed to cross the memory of my last ride with Wikbemer started to haunt me…. Oh no…. that dreaded hill that goes and goes and keeps going. I remember my distant experience where Boulder was screaming at me to stay left. I did. This time I made it 80% way up … better than last time. So once I dropped it and the boys got the bike up. I must have been in some zone because a few f%%k words came out and it wasn’t going to beat me. It didn’t. Yee ha.. Got to the top myself.

Good to hear thay you conquered that section of Lynches Fire Trail Katgirl. Well done! Next time it will be straight to the top on the fly. :)

And did you remember that little log across the track right on the bend? It catches out the unwary.
