You are going to get me in trouble, I was just lurking over the dark side and that poor guy was looing for someone to ride with mid week and as you cant mention anything there for the better of the sport and peoples safety (riding in groups as on your own) I just mentioned that I was going, and it sort of snowballed, I have tried to keep it as above board as I can over there but hey s*#t happens, would rather talk here about it.

Also I would love to get you to lead me around the area you covered with Gilli and Ollie on another day as I havent been through there for about 6 years I reckon, what says you?

Yeah, I was going to rib you about organising a ride on DBW but you make good points about riding on your own so I’ll let you off!!

You should get a big DBW group together and put OBT banners at the meet point Seriously though, the people I have met have all been nice guys and couldn’t give a faaark if you are with OBT or anyone else. There are a few that complain, but that’s life.

The ride sounds good, I just need to try and sort my bloody bike out. I haven’t changed the gearbox oil in 1000K’s now as the chocolate drain plug has rounded itself off and I can’t get the oil out. Gear changes are starting to become very notchy I’ve got a spare drain plug and all the oil ready to go. It’s just geeting old plug out.

As for taking you on the trails I did with Ollie and Gili, no worries at all. Tell me when you feel like a ride and I’ll do my best to sort it out. Maybe you can grab Mick and we can get a few boys out. I’m sure Gili and Ollie would be interested.

Drill it, throw an easy out through it and twist it out happy days :laugh:, drain the sludge bang some oil in and that new plug in, ring work tell them your sick :blink: and see you there.

Look I am sure the guys there are cool as , (at DBW) and it wasnt meant to happen like that but they are so anal (the owners / moderators :angry:) and over the top regarding name dropping etc that I cant do anything but do a ride and someone will work out we are Old Bulls and Thumpertalks and Adventure riders and DBW’s and BRP site and Kawaski forum members and they may or may not deal with it but thats life

I wasnt riding by myself but that poor dude there at DBW was looking for people and for the better of our sport I spoke up lol and now well I will have a great ride

I had thought about that. Problem is I don’t have a drill or an easyout I’m just starting to build my tools up again, all that I did have are back in the UK.

I’ll probably come and take you up on the offer to pick me up if that’s okay. I’ll just do one last ride before it goes to the garage get sorted. I’ll do it on Saturday. I have a bucks night to go in the early arvo so might just ride the bike to the mechanic in the morning and get it done.

Good stuff, hows about you come up Wyong rd past Westfield over the F3 and turn right onto the on ramp (towards newcastle) there is a area on the corner there I will pick you up 7.15am, that gives us 45 mins to tie it on get there and get kitted up for 8 start.
