Oh well if we get wet we get wet.

We have booked a spot at St Albans pub for lunch on Sunday.

Tried to get a menu but was told that that the menu changes all the time. I secretly think that it depends on what road kill is available on the day.

Only joking we have eaten there before and while some may say it’s a bit exy it is a good meal and the pub has the right ambience.

As DanD said, from memory it is more expensive because you really pay for the atmosphere but there is always the takeaway shop if that’s what you want to do.

Not that bad Eagle – but considering that you offered to pay for everyone you better bring the plastic. (You remember saying that don’t you – or was I just thinking that you said that?)

It will be a good day for all, I’ve just gotta go easy on the juice Saturday night.

Kylie is going to do some baking on Saturday morning so we will have some nice trail snacks on Sunday.

Nothing says lovin like somethen from the oven.

Ha ha, don’t get too excited though. You have no idea what I have in store for you all.

Choc chip muffins with choc-flavoured laxette squares. Curious experiment to try on a day long trail ride.

I had a chat with Racy Tracy today and she was telling me about a pub at Wiseman’s Ferry. I have attached a link to their website and it’s got their menu on it.

We can always stop in at St Alban’s for the ambience if you want and then continue in to Wiseman’s Ferry to refuel and have lunch.

    baked treats :woohoo:
with that comment i made in (OBT NEEDS YOUR HELP) regarding that if kyied organises a professional ride, we will donate (to OBT) what the professional trail ride company would charge.
now with baked goods, the bar is lifted for all tour companies

and now with eagle paying for lunch… i’ll have the duck. racy got the menu when we where scouting. it is eccy. but nice. it did see people eating a bowel of chips. and you can always get food at the take away.
another option, is, with me with the panniers, i could carry food and drink for a picnic on the common. i could pick up some turkish bread and deli treats, and put some drinks in the box

and remember, if it flogs down rain we could always go go-karting at thorten.

and kd yam. no pressure mate
