Waterproof socks

After all the rain we’ve had on the north coast this year I saw these advetised in a uk bike mag I get and thought they would be perfect.

Has anyone seen them in Australia or tried them out ??

I haven’t seen them before Nick. I think they would be ok if you don’t sweat much. I don’t get water in my boots much anymore with over boot pants. But I do sweat heaps and that fills the boots up.

If you spend a bit of time with your boots under water, ie.helping guys in bog holes or paddle the bike through then the socks should work fine. Get some and give them a go mate.

let us no how they go if you get some the old gearn boots dont let much water in except when it comes in the top don t think i am oldernoth for over boot pants thats for gas gas riders :kiss:

I ordered some from Sydney today , so I’ll let you know how they go !

I too wear Gaerne boots and they are pretty good , but for weekends like Coffs with 3 days of crossing creeks they were soaked inside. I normally go for the shopping bag over my socks but it does your feet no favours on a big day.

At $60 delivered they’re not cheap so I’m hoping for big results and totally dry feet!!
