A few of us” Wauchopians” so far have signed up to participate in the Wattagans Trail Bike rally, wondering if “OLD BULLS” would like some representation up at the Rally. Thinking if old bulls has a banner of sorts we could erect and spark some additional interest?????

Rally is to held on the 20th and 21st of June, would be great if we get a bunch of members onsite.

Chris/ TB- let me know what you think??

Mick- Gee up the local old bulls to see if we can get a few more numbers??

Hey Phill, yes we have a banner I’ll check the dates, I wouldn’t mind going on that, do you have any more info like costs etc.

    Cheers
    CHris.

    $125 for two days riding.

I would like to go but on principle I won’t.

Principle 1 – One of the promoters and his hangers on are nothing but a bottom feeding scum bags and I refuse to be scammed of anymore of my money by that prick.

Principle 2 – The 21st is our wedding aniversary.

End of rant, it would be a good event to go for those interested. And could help boost Old Bull numbers

I might go to this. Although paying $125 to ride where I ride for free every other week kinda goes against my principle!

I Love those blokes to pieces, I also love the way many of them come back later and try to ride the Private proprty here, leaving gates open and scaring the cattle so next time we’re out the farmers have not got their “loving” attitudes on towards us, many of these things are “hit and run”

Sorry I am selfish when it comes to this, if you’ve stuffed your own riding areas up and haven’t redressed the problems, go to a park and I’ll invite the responsible types to our area and keep them yahooing to a minimum.

I am still smarting about the 100s of riders turning up to a beaut spot that the locals and their mates used responsibly for years, but in the past six-twelve months has become totally inundated by border hoppers as they lost several of their own SE QLD areas, and now it is being patrolled BY NPWS and the police as the accident and anti-social behaviour has made it no-go for us, now we’re looking at losing it too.

Just ride the weekend after. You can’t miss where they have been. Unless they cut new tracks, the last few rides I’ve done around there have been on the trails they will use anyway.

Moto, are you organising the Watagans Trial Bike Rally After Ride?

I went to the last one and although it was fun,I much prefer going with a smaller group of guys. Lining up behind 40 others waiting to have a go at a semi technical hill is not my go. The prizes are good, live band and camping with your mates and getting on it is fun and also the sideshow with all the gear is not to bad either. But I wont be going this year.
