    Showing interest in the ride set out for Sunday the 5th. I know the area reasonably well so you can count me and my son in.

    Would be keen to explore the singles around the pines on your next trip up that way.

    You would just have to find the track and follow or hope the arrows are still up. Only those that set it out or raced it would know it, you know that.

    Word of warning over the years after any event in the watagans riders flock to the tracks used, be careful of guys like yourself wanting to ride the tracks

    Sorry I’m at work this weekend so I won’t be able to get there. Thanks for the invite though! I doubt whether I will make it to Louee either as we will be doing the Sunny Corner thing the weekend before.

    Okay guys, I reckon we start from the pines area of the Watagans and head out from there. We’ll meet at the Turpentine camping area and should be there by 8:00am ready to ride by no later than 8:30am. That gives everyone a chance to get there without beating the cockrels out of bed.

    I’ll be in a Silver Subaru so keep an eye out for that. If anyone that doesn’t have my mobile wants it to keep in touch/sort issues out for the day send me a PM and I’ll send it to you.

    We have a bit of rain coming this week so the conditions could be good on Sunday :-) Lastly, does anyone want to volunteer to lead for all/part of the ride? We’ll rotate the sweep duties so everyone gets a fair go.

    Me/Matt can lead a loop if need be, I’d rather someone else lead though as I like to see new sections and the loops other people put together.

    Maybe between the 3 of us we will get something original happening :P We can all take a turn at sweep, that way nobody has to do it for a prolonged period of time :)

    I’ve only ridden there once, so I am no good for leading.
    Where is the Turpentine camp area, I only know of The Pines :huh:

    Turpentine camp area is just a bit further along the Watagan Forest Rd about 400 metres past wollombi Rd intersection.
