Hey guys, a mate and I were going to head out early saturday so if you don’t mind we might meet up with you at 930. Could someone explain the meeting point please?

Gyday Austblue, Casurina is easy,Go up Martinsville rd,veer right and stay on that for a about 5km, you will pass the Pines on the right, then Olney,Wollombi rd is on the left, a couple of hundred metres further down is Casurina on the right.;) if you go past German Point rd youve gone to far.

Hey Guys for those that are considering coming,it is intended to have a sausage sizzle and a drink prior to heading out on part 2 of the ride, so when you come up bring a couple of snags for yourself and a drink or let me know if you want me to get them for you.I will organise the bbq bread and sauce etc probably cost ya about $3 if you want me to do it. let me know what you want to do cheers OllieB)

Cheers for that. We rode from the pines camp ground last time so it should be nice and easy to find.

Funny I thought I’d posted here before but I guess I’d only lurked! I’ll have to make my way to the intro forum ;)

Just tell them that you do love bikes more than them and to get over it :P

Kylie – You are welcome to come too. I am not leading the ride, I just asked who was riding  Sounds like Ollie and P-Dub are doing the honours.

This should finish off my back tyre completely, she’s seen better days now :)

LMFAO. Grade 4/5. Yeah right. I know my capabilities and 4/5 is not within it. 2/3 more my style so I’ll just wait for Old Al’s ride. Thanks Old Al! I was just feeling sorry for myself. I’ll be fine, really I will. Don’t worry , I’m OK. That’s if you were concerned at all.

    All’s good.

    All’s fine.

Al – sorry to hear about your injury mate, I hope it doesn’t keep you off the bike for long, I know how that feels :(

So Ollie, where are we going on this ride?

Have to discuss with P-Dub but looking at the following tracks just need to link them up.

option 1 : ST in front of carpark,German point rd,bowes ? (big rocky downhill) old mill rd, then single track back to Wollombi rd, head towards basin and 3 ways find koala trail, lynches paddock, great North track possibly do some of the enduro trails then head back towards the Pines, I havnt got a map ATM so P-dub may have to work it out. Im good up to the 3 ways. The rest not to sure about.
option 2:same as above to Wollombi rd then head back to carpark for a refuel/rest/lunch snags on bread-bring your own:laugh: into ST opposite carpark ,down to Prickly ridge RD,left to Martinsville RD,greens break fire trail,do hill climb, cross over rd into single trail head towards Muirs,go left near muirs (great twin track fast stuff) find more single trail and the Mesh stuff, tricky uphill big loop around work way back up to muirs then into some old 4 day special test tracks and back to cars for a beer approx 100 kms
option 3 P-dub might have some good trails he knows of and let him lead

    Ollie

I’m liking option 1 or 2 Ollie. Its been a while since I’ve been out that way.I looked at the map and have an idea but its not detailed enough to know for sure.I will be bringing the map this time so we can get out there and wing it.
Option 3 may result in you guys thinking I’m a clueless feckn eejit> We’ll save that for a later date eh
I’ve got a little gas BBQ that I’m happy to bring up if you want? If you could bring a few sausages for me Ollie I will be happy to fix you up for them.

cool Pete,Ive got a couple of those little kmart burner jobs with a HD frypan.

Do you know how to get to Koala trail and Lynches paddock? if you do we should take that option if not Option 2 would probably be better as we know where we are going and how to get there:dry: either would be a good ride though.

    The Snag List thus far:

    Ollie – yes
    Gili – Yes
    P-Dub – yes
