Gordo Sam and I met up at Dooralong.
There was another two groups of riders, with us being the smallest
We had a bit of a late start with Sam’s Sherco needing a jump start
A little thought needs to be put into battery access, and Lotsa who we ran into later had a great idea :cheer:
We headed up Maculata to the steel ramp and singled it to Hitchcocks, a little pruning needed to open it up a bit
We had a chat and decided a challenge was in order and headed across and down to Mesh Hill track.
That pesky tree that you had to wriggle under has gone :woohoo: Although the short hills on the track are getting rooted  (tree rooted) from those rookies that like to dig to crankcase depth before they realize they need to get off and push
Sam hit Mesh Hill itself with ease however it caught Gordo at the tree, I gave it some extra bikkies up the mesh and cruised over the roots and mono’ed up the rest
Amazing what a little momentum will do
Singles to Martinsville Hill Rd then some side tracks to Green Bank where we cruised past some 4bies on the hill and singled it to the Pines for lunch.
It was decided that next time we bring some sausages, gee they smell good on a BBQ
We headed for the track that leads to Muirs lookout however we still can’t find it after logging works however we did stumble upon the Fire Brigade playing with chainsaws clearing tracks for practice
Did the other usual singles to Muirs then to the top of Lemon Tree (I’d been given a report of heaps of trees down) so we headed over to the Saw Pit Rd side.
We stayed low in the valley on the short cuts, cleared one tree whilst Sam fixed a flat and wriggled our way back to the cars passing an RFS crew playing with hoses on the way. Turns out Sam’s boss was in the crew and we had a little chat
A fun ride, no stoppages apart from Sam’s perfectly timed flat, and a few moments from us all to provide laughs for the others  :pinch: and absolutely perfect conditions, it doesn’t get any better :woohoo:
Adam.

To those that could not make it …. you didn’t miss any thing  Yea right
Ahh, The mesh hill is becoming more difficult. But I didn’t get struck  as much as didn’t choose to plow through Sam. mind you if he wasn’t there the wind might of stopped me. :pinch:Another great day in the bush.
B No drama had a good go on Sams sherco fun fun fun. :cheer:
the 300 as has a noticeable torque advantage down lo. different bike to ride. but fun, great through the tight singles light and responsive .
We covered about 85 km and things were moving pretty quick. Adam had his running shoes on. I caught sight of the Speedo at 100km but it was not feeling quick . Had I come off … another story!
We all had turn at the front and some of us knew where we were going.. :whistle:Thanks Sam. Adam as always … a pleasure :woohoo:
