February 23, 2009 at 7:06 pm #123524Fridays Ride is pretty casual. Probably leave here at 9am. 10 km tar to Beechwood then up the Pipeclay road to Kindee bridge,A little bit more tar to Long Flat for a top up of fuel then through Toms Creek road to Comboyne Plateau. Out to my inlaws for a lap or two of our enduro track (5km laps) Then off to Elands for lunch and more fuel, Ellenborough falls for a look then back to Wauchope on some single trail via Swans crossing. About 140 km all up, most of the ride will be grade 2. Probably about 30km Tar
It is a very scenic ride with plenty of views to take in on the way (subject to weather), as we will be up at about 2000 feet for a lot of the ride. The Kindee Bridge is worth a look see.

AnonymousThe Friday ride sounds great too Mick. Will there be fuel on the way? 140K will be a struggle for anyone with a standard tank on a 450…

Sorry Mick, I don’t know how I managed to miss both of the fuel stop remarks :blush:February 24, 2009 at 10:14 am #119806Sounds frikin awesome,
Would love to get onto that ride!
Saturday is the day for me. The WR450 can handle the trails but I haven’t been out that way for almost a year, will be good to get reunited again.
Hope a position comes up. -
