Quote:How long are the laps expected to be Mick? Tell me what Hollis’s fastest lap is and I’ll try and average that for 3 hours :laugh:About 8km on average. 12 minutes is about how long you should take.
With a bit of luck Hollis will be back from Italy by then and you can just follow him. :laugh:November 9, 2009 at 11:19 pm #160192micknmeld wrote:

move on people
November 10, 2009 at 12:58 am #160226Did we mention that it is a Le Mans style start? An advantage to those with electric start.I will have to have the pig on TDC ready to rip.

AnonymousHardly much of an advantage over a 3 hour race. If you watch the GNCC you don’t see the quick boys there going for the button, there must be something in that

It will be funny to watch me casually stroll to my bike, swing my leg over, start my bike, check my mirrors, indicate and pull away safely
November 10, 2009 at 1:36 am #160232The advantage in being in front of other bike through all that single trail at the start and just being able to worry about doing your thing and leave the worry to others passing you instead of you trying to safely get around slower bikes during the first couple of laps
