For those guys that can’t make the Hills of Gold ride at Nundle, Moose and I are planning a ride here in Wauchope for anyone keen this coming Saturday.
Most likely, will be a loop up to Comboyne Rock and back, 80-100kms.
A mixture of singles and some open stuff. A good fun grade 3 ride.
Would like to be riding by 8am. Anyone else keen?
Starters so far:
Mick
Moose
Ferknerkle
Razzle
Toes
Kram (subject to having a bike going)September 30, 2012 at 8:34 pm #230048You always hold these rides when I can’t make it over there. One day Mick I will join you one a wauchope ride.
September 30, 2012 at 8:37 pm #230049Count me in please :woohoo:
September 30, 2012 at 9:00 pm #230051Sorry Boony, Moose actually had a weekend off from his duties at the track. So that is why we decided to go and have a ride. Him and I haven’t ridden together much at all this year.
Razzle, you are on the list.
October 1, 2012 at 9:15 pm #230053Toes reckons he is coming too.
Kram is gunna come too if he gets his shocks back from Teknicks in time.
I am still debating to start at Wauchope or Byabarra at this stage.
October 3, 2012 at 9:29 pm #230093We will be meeting at Wauchope Cemetery car park at 7.45am for a 8am departure. I will have to wing it at the start as Bago has been on fire for most of the week and I am not sure if it has burnt any of the planned route. Once we are up and over Bago it will be ok from there. It will be dusty though.
October 3, 2012 at 9:44 pm #230225I dont believe Kram will be a goer for this ride unless his never before displayed wheel stand skills are better than I reckon they are

Head straight through town up the main street, keep going for about 2km until you see The Big log in front of Timbertown ( you can’t miss it). Continue along another 200 meters and it is the first turn on the left. You can see the parking area from the main road. You have my number, so call me if you get lost!
It is on the corner of the Oxley Highway and Old Hwy road.
October 4, 2012 at 6:23 am #230237So far, confirmed as going is;
Mick
Razzle
Ferknerkle
MooseI seriously doubt if we will see Toes turn up, as I heard a rumour that he has got a ticket to a corporate tent at Tomorrow’s Port Macquarie cup horse racing meeting. Drunk and disorderly I would suggest.

October 4, 2012 at 6:59 am #230054I can’t believe you snubbed us and the nundle ride to go for a run down there. To think of the hours we put into making singles just designed to boil 650’s. Oh the pain , the heartache, the sense of loss! Go on just ignore us and ride those shit trails of yours!
Ps you owe us tamvegans a guided tour in early 2013 you have been warned
