After a few wet years here on the north coast the trails were starting to get a bit over grown and unruly so we have been pulling up mid ride and back tracking over some of our favourite sections and tidying up the lantana , angled logs and suspended sticks to make the ride more fun and a whole lot safer.

Today I spent almost 4 hours hacking away and restored some great single track back to its full glory :woohoo:

It got me thinking about what I use to keep the trails tidy.

My weapon of choice is the good old Cane Knife , costs about $40 and good for years of service !!

Admittedly it’s not one to carry while riding but works a treat ;)

What’s your weapon of choice ??

I carry this one with me on every ride, it’s now a permanent fixture

We just pick where we want to go, tell bollocks there’s a steak and beer down there and follow the track he makes.

Just bought a pocket sized hand chainsaw off eBay for 30$. Which tears thru branches. We don’t have lantana up here.

Boony carries ky gell and goat food.

Haha top stuff Bol, heard stories of forestry workers waiting for over half an hour for a logging truck to turn up, double clutching and all.

Once they figured out that it was only around a ten min trip in, it had to br a lire bird.

    I’m surprised Ecks hasn’t posted up a pic of the D6 ;p

    I agree with you Boll,
Those things are tricky little buggers,,,

The noise they make in the Hills of Gold make Boony think he`s bouncing` the 350 off the limiter al the time
