After a few wet years here on the north coast the trails were starting to get a bit over grown and unruly so we have been pulling up mid ride and back tracking over some of our favourite sections and tidying up the lantana , angled logs and suspended sticks to make the ride more fun and a whole lot safer.
Today I spent almost 4 hours hacking away and restored some great single track back to its full glory :woohoo:
It got me thinking about what I use to keep the trails tidy.
My weapon of choice is the good old Cane Knife , costs about $40 and good for years of service !!
Admittedly it’s not one to carry while riding but works a treat

Motion-Pro Billet Chainsaw holder, its what we use. Tested and used in the field by rideadv.com.au
D6? Nah, D8 for clearing tracks, the D6 is for stick raking!
