Packed up the ute Friday arvo and headed off up to Clarence early Saturday morning. Found a nice secluded spot in the pines camping area, set up camp and headed off.
With Tiny in the lead we headed of along Black Fellows Track to Walgan Gap. Nice and cruisy ride along the fire trails, with a few single tracks thrown in for scare tactics. We then headed along Walgan Valley Rd to Newnes.
Road back to Wallawerang to visit a mate and buy a few beers for when we got back to camp. Headed back through Walgan Gap and back along fire trails to camp. Was about halfway along Black Fellows Track when trying to navigate my way around some HUGE mud puddles was doing good when i f#*ked up. Crossed up in the puddle and SPLAT, face planted into the ground.
I was more worried about the beers in my backpack than anything lol. Tiny came and got the bike off me as my foot was stuck under, jumped back on and made it back to camp in one piece, although my bike has slight bent bars . We had covered 156km all up for the day and i had a ball.

Day two seen us heading for the Glow Worm tunnels. We went first up a few trails that we had not done for a warm up, then made our way to the tunnels. We went for the 2km trek down to the tunnels (not something to do in riding boots) had a looked around and than walked up hill back to the bikes:unsure: Big blister from the walk but was worth it:) .

Headed back to camp, via a few tracks through the pine forest along the way. All up we did 284km over the weekend a great learning experience and had a great weekend:woohoo: Planning on going up again in a few weeks time:P

Is it just me or does Tiny look like he’s got a fluffy black French moustache on his upper lip? Is this a new look for you Pierre?

That’s a really sweet, loving caring, nice thing to do the couple who rides together and all that, nice area from the look of it too, really good phots and well written report, now young Biarch don’t you ever ever let on to any other women that that other couples do this, what the hell would I do if my Wife or my Girlfriend found out they could take up my solitary “get away from it all” pastime as well so they could spend more time together with me:unsure: ?

Actually looks like you guys had loads of fun, keep it up.

It would be a good weekend if you brought both of them camping at the same time though Bruce ;)
