My son & I met with Ev & Macca this morning for my 1st ride with you old bulls.
We arrived at Ingalba at 8.30 all pumped for a ride after spending the long weekend locked inside in the pissin down rain. Ev more so after spending the last 7 weeks out with a knee injury.We exchanged pleasantries & all rushed to get our bikes off the trailers & geared up ready for a morning of sick single track.
My son & i have never rode this end of Ingalba & have listened to Ev tell us how good it is for months.
Ev & Maccca decided to do a few laps up & down the main track to warm their bikes up before hitting the singles. On the 2nd lap Ev gives the wr a fistfull lofting the front wheel in 3rd only to have Macca attempt a u-turn in front of him!!!! Ev speared straight into the side of Maccas on loan WR250(Which I think he was quietly scared of) sending both bulls into the scrub yelling in pain.
Result-Ev had sore knee,thumb & bent front disc rotor
-Macca sore leg & bent radiator & shroud

So we helped the old bulls load their bikes & their sorry asses back into their ute, waved goodbye & my son & I went off to explore on our own.
We managed to find some great single track out there & yes Ev it does seem as good as you say.Would be good to have you show us where it all is though next time.

I hope all Old Bulls rides aren’t this short or I might have to find a new site!!!l

Welcome Coxy,

Most if not all Old Bulls come off at one time or another, some more than others :whistle:

However Ev must be going for some kind of record, 1 so close to the start and 2 taking someone with him :laugh:

Hope they didn’t scare you off any more Old Bull rides :laugh:

Hope Ev and Macca are all good for the 3rd :ohmy:

Its some sort of record i rode about 50 metres doing about 70 and macca did a u turn i hit him side on ,hes lucky i didnt hit his leg.The damage;front flat,broken front guard,blinker,bent front disc,bent bars,cracked headlight shroud ,leaking fork seal and severly bruised ego x2.
Put a new disc and tube on and is now rideable.Mrs birthday tomorrow so no riding that will make it 9 weeks off the bike F@#$k!!!!!!
But none hurt, lucky it could have been real bad

Bloody hell Ev whats going on ??

My last ride with you had you taking a different :blink: line on a tricky downhill and launching of a 8 ft drop and into a heap :pinch: I thought then ‘ base jump Ev ‘ would have been a better name !! :laugh:

I know you like the extreme stuff mate but trying to ride over Macca just ain’t on !! :silly:

No not all OBT rides are as comical as that. Then again Jeffro’s come off, in front of the police fits the bill.

12 of us did a ride today at Wauchope and there was some funny stuff but nothing in that league..:pinch:
