Old Bull Trailriders would like to welcome Whipp’s Alloy Products as a new site sponsor. Based on the Mid North Coast of NSW at Telegraph Point, Whipp’s have been manufacturing a range of products aimed specifically at Motorcyclists for many years. Probably their best known products would have to be their heavy duty bash plates, that offer the ultimate in protection to your engine cases. Both TB and Micknmeld run Whipp’s bash plates on their XR650’s and have given them a fair workout, during the time they have had them on and both guys swear by them.
You only need to read the article by TB when he collected the tree with his Whipps bash plate and you will see what a tough product they are!! Check out these pics;To check for availability for your bike click here;
Whipps alloy bash platesWhipp’s bike stands are the first choice of Team Motorex KTM, Team Suzuki and are
often seen holding up bikes in ADB and Trailzone magazine.
Made from structural alloy, they’re ultra light yet strong enough to hold the heaviest bikes around. (Even XR650’s)
The large base area gives extra stability even on rough ground, and the
non-slip rubber deck helps hold your bike safely while you work. The large foot pedal and self-locking design of our quicklift stand make it quick and simple to use – just slide it under your bike, put your foot down and you’re up, up and away! Check out the range here;Another great range of products the team at Whipp’s produce, is their famous loading ramps made with high grade structural alloy. Whether it be for getting your bike into your ute, to loading a quad or even a ride-on mower, Whipp’s will have a ramp for whatever application you require;
Some of the other great products available from Whipp’s are Tyre changers (standard and Mousse) Tie down braces, luggage racks, quick lock wheel clamps, shark fin disc protectors and more. Check out the range;
If you are interested in any of Whipp’s great products give them a call on
02 6585 0944 and tell them you are from the Old Bulls and they will look after you with a great price. Yes, they will accept orders from all over Australia too.April 22, 2010 at 11:08 pm #176831G’day Mr Whipp, I personally like the Whipps stuff from what I’ve experienced of them, and I suddenly feel like going out and polishing something….

April 23, 2010 at 8:15 pm #176838Welcome aboard Whipps.
I have one of there bashs plate on the sherco and it paid for itself the second ride. They were also the first to make an alloy bash plate for the shercos. Thanks guys.
April 24, 2010 at 5:50 am #176919Ah, it all becomes clear!
Welcome to OBT Whipps, have had a bashplate from you guys before. Wasn’t too bad but the Kato640 it was bolted to shook so bad with engine vibrations that it cracked the plate across the bottom. I had a mate TIG weld it and it was as good as new – then sold the Kato!
