Well TB was waiting outside Kitchener Pub was we drove in at 6.40am. He looked surprisingly good for that time in the morning….. Believe me I’ve seen worse.
TB rode that truck in the bush like it was a oversize tenere. We arrived at the extraction area and it turned out TB was in the ball park last night but just didn’t venture into the bush far enough with his thongs. Whilst TB and II were yakking Mick went bush and we could hear the grunts in the distance and decided to keep yakking till Mick had the bike pushed onto the track. With a bit grunt the bike was lifted onto the trailer. The electrical tape came out and TB taped the bike together for the trip home.
We parted ways and left TB to continue on his way.
Operation Chinese extraction successful.

February 9, 2013 at 10:51 am #236468lol nice to hear the story surrounding my chinese extraction.
Thanks so much guys for resucing the poor thing. Nice black tape job TB
. I was surprised at how upset I actually was about leaving the bike there , bought a huge smile to my face to see it clunk off TB’s trailer this afternoon.I’ll post some photos of the state that she’s in. I’ve already contacted the parts supplier to order in new bar, new speedo kit, head light kit, and indicators.
I haven’t tried starting it (least I have the keys now) bc everything seems to be disconnected around that area???
Hmmm maybe I should take off everything that looks broken and see what I have left? Anyone feel like helping me fix it is more than welcome 😆 Did I mention I have a 3/4 pool table, dart board and endless supply of beer ……
Anyway,
Think I’ll chuck some road tires on it and sell it ….maybe….or maybe I’ll keep it for sentimental reasons
tyres are probably worth more than the bike at the moment. Thanks so much TB, Mick and Kat. I’m VERY happy to have it home again.

I think my bike may need some serious attention it won’t even start. I’ve stripped it down so I can get to the battery and filter and fueses. Only prob is I don’t really know what I’m looking at lol. Now that I see the bike frame for what it is I tjink all the weight is in the engine.
I’m thinking ill de register it and use it as a rebuild project to learn more about how they work.Might need to start a new thread. The “chinese revolution ” maybe 😆
