Tiger is good for a change and I defiantly appreciate being able to use the bike and experience the differences between the bikes but itβs not a Tenere. The lower seat height of the Tiger is good in the creeks :laugh: , you can ride it sideways more than straight if you want to :woohoo: . It revs to next week, I mean 10,000rpm on a triple cylinder bike off-road is different at first but it will pull from 2500rpm. Sitting here looking at my foot in a moon boot I know how lucky I was to be riding that last weekend with a sore foot. Looking forward to a few days on a 800 BMW soon as a comparison. Lifes good

Hoping on more single track action this arvo.

February 25, 2013 at 11:24 am #227450spent more time cleaning, preping my 2 oldest ferals bikes while they were at school today as they doing there kick start this weekend ,the start of me being broke properly now π but i dont mind aslong as they havn fun and staying out of trouble [law].
kids come home and b4 i new what they were up to they had there chest plates, boots outready for washing, very good thinking on there behalf they filled the wheelbarrow full of warm water,detergent,and parked it under the carport π π ,started soaking gear then proceeded to scub boots and chestplates
found thermo fan problem today on the ktm ,senser switch in bottom of radiator $85 later all good, tomorrow complete stripping all plastics and what ever can come off and proper wash down and maybe make up a grab handle aswell
February 25, 2013 at 11:41 am #237280The kids have been bugging me that they want a KTM like daddys one. So I spent Sunday converting a perfectly good Honda into a KTM. New Orange plastics with a chopped up KTM 65 graphic kit and a heavily modified 450X gripper seat cover did the trick and put a smile on her dial.

February 25, 2013 at 6:31 pm #227452Did a bit to the bike yesterday . New rear wheel bearings,new head stock bearings,repaired the rear shock,
removed all the needle rollers from the linkage, cleaned, greased and refitted ,fitted new hydraulic brake switch to front brake and that was day two. Just need to get it to run a bit better and fit a chain guard and
i can get it reg’oed :laugh: :laugh:bones
