Washed about 2 cubic metres of dirt and mud off and put it up on the stand ready to grease up bearings various.

    Spent an hour washing etc,,
Had a Birdsnest of grass in the bashplate

Then fitted a RallyRaid Billet rear brake pedal I got from MickP on the weekend ;)
He had it on his 690 before selling it a while back
Only took another hour to do all that and grease a few things while at it

Pulled my leaking forks out and took them to Tekniks. Was told they need rechroming and might take two weeks. They might have to go back in like they are, I have to much riding organised to be without the bike for longer than two weeks.

Anyone got new inner tubes for 48mm forks laying around they want to sell?

Good luck with that Mal

I have a set of 45’s if you can pack out your triples.

    Hey Mal
Isn’t it always the way. :( ;)
Just checked out a clip on how to change springs in closed cartridge forks
Looks a bit different but I’m sure a man of your intalect could change seals easy enough. B)

I’m keen to get out and have a proper ride with the lighter/standard fork springs I put back in mine.
Back is still a no goer though. :(
    Cheers

I picked it up from bikes and bits, they put a new rear tyre on it while I was away on holidays, thanks guys I’m going from a 130/80 back to a 110/90 it should be better. For me

I put a new front brake line clamp on it. Got rid of the stock one and put a cool blue bling thingy on there looks good!!!!!!

Thanks Ollie but if they can’t get the recoated by next thursday then I’ll pick them up, change the oil and put them back in for the next 3 months of riding.

Sad thing is I could make some nice spacers to adapt the 45’s.
