The quad bike decided to die today, was sitting on it playing with the phone when it started to die so gave it a few revs, no response. Tried to restart but sounded like it had given in to 1000 hrs of abuse. Pulled the side cover off, timing ok, valve check ok, spark ok, but no compression at all.
Just finished welding up the frame after snapping her in half to make things worse.
    Cheap quad for sale now.

Did my 1st ride on my new Christini 2WD 450 today around my farm today after a quick to Sydney and return from Bega yesterday ( 1000 + Km) to pick it up. I managed to stall the Rekluse fitted clutch and fell off it after stalling in a creek (usual No safety farm riding gear) landing back first after a 2 m fall on a 3 X football size rock in the creek. Needless to say my back is extremely damaged as a result of the crash. It serves me right to expect the riding characteristics of this new carbied bike would be the same as my Husaberg FE 570 fuel injected other bike.

The Christini DS 450 +++ has a lot of potential for an old bloke like me but will take a bit of getting used to. I send I a few reports as I get a few hrs on this new stable mate

I wound up just grinding the unwanted of the tyres, pluss blinkers, n took it to my car guy. I should have taken it there in the first place, top bloke, just looked at it ,and done deal, happy days.

The grinder on the tyres, works great.

    Cheers Teza.
