my truck went in today for major service and tune up for a bit more HP (opened up to 580 HP :woohoo: :woohoo: ) , the boss says you may as well have a sports day at home and paid for it  , so straight in today for a M12 front and see what sort of value rear and service on the bike ready for a Monkerai run on the weekend .

tyres are on, bike looked over , ready for monkerai in the morning ended up with a M12 michy front and trying a geomax AT81 on the rear

I went looking for the flux capacitor on the piglet.

all I found was the inlet ports, So I had a go at cleaning up some bumps and ridges, and smoothed the bejesus out of the inside radius. I know it’s not perfect, but neither is the rest of the bike!

The forks and shock go off to Nick at Teknik, and will call him Monday to discuss head and barrel work.

My Berg got new bearings in the swingarm, rear shock, headset, wheels. Rear shock rebuilt, new grips, new chain slider and guide, chain, sprockets. Engine oil changed and 4 air filters washed and oiled. Still got to do a spark plug, fuel filters and brake pads!

Got a big race coming up, got to make sure it all holds together.

Probably needs a piston but I will get a new bike before I rebuild it.

It “was” a new bike. 150 hrs and 5500kms wears things out.

Nothing was flogged out just preventative maintenance which is a new concept for me 😆

It had 1000km on it when I got it (ex demo)

Trying to look after it a bit, usually I just ride until things start to fall off before fixing them!!!

Up every two hours through the night screaming????

Yes, I am pretty comfortable with Nick, I think he may have been bottle fed on old honda oil? He even managed to offload an old ‘dusty’ HRC profile cam to me. So hopefully the baby will have a bit of bark too!
