Made up a mounting bracket and fitted a Vapor speedo. Still have to wire it up yet though.

I’m not a goose I know how to tighten bolts.

The bolts must have been faulty or over-stressed because the ones I replaced them with could be tightened heaps tighter if need be with no problems.

    you are a GOOSE

Put new seals in the KTM forks and found that probably Terry Hayes has had these forks because there is a different compression piston and only one DU bush on the slider (should have two with a spacer between them)

    They work good enough though

You do see the sore tooth.
Hows this I got these extras when I bought the bike and when I went to fit the chain today some one had already cut the chain 3 links short   so had to get another joining link.

And a new back tyre IRC M5B. Not quite the tyre for these dry conditions but it might rain :P

Changed the jetting last night to try and save some fuel and gain more low down power. Test ride today in tight singles.

Nice and crisp with heaps of power (maybe to much) comes onto the pipe a bit to strong for the tight nasty stuff.

Still uses a shit load of fuel. 48km and about 0.5L off reserve. :( Might drop the main jet down a couple of sizes.

    Is that the Gaser Mal?
Maybe the throttle control needs backing off? :woohoo:
Maybe not all your fuel is going thru the motor, have you looked at float heights, might be losing fuel out the bowl vent lines, just a thought, the fuel use sounds excessive ….
