I really enjoy rock climbing, although ive been pretty slack over the last few months and havn’t been on the wall much! Its relatively cheap, great people involved, and an incredible work out!
I grew near the Victorin high country so i am also right into my skiing and snowboarding, but its way too bloody expensive these days so i really only get on the slopes a couple of times a year.November 12, 2008 at 11:08 am #111976chiefgili wrote:

AnonymousAs previously mentioned, one of my loves is 4wding.I used to do a few competitions. It is the equivalent to doing a bike enduro. Various different events, staged over a couple of days.
Here is a pic of an old toy. It is probably the most fun vehicle I have ever owned. It was heavily modified in the suspension, gears and engine.
Hopefully this won’t make TB “bar up” but it was a 4.2l 6 cylinder diesel. It had an aftermarket intercooled turbo fitted. The turbo had been “hi flowed” and had a 5″ dump pipe. It had a straight through 3″ exhaust. Fuelpump also had a few trick modifications as well. The turbo normally ran at 18PSI, but on cool wet days, it would sometimes see up to 22PSI. On the road, it surprised most people to see a big 4wd smoking up 35″ tyres (38.5″ inch tyres in this pic) leaving long black rubber marks. It was fully sic!
I now have a more sedate 4wd station wagon which is good to go to the shops in.
November 13, 2008 at 3:51 am #112004Hey Nigel, did you ever do any of the winch challenges or Tuff Truck??
That is gnarly shit.November 13, 2008 at 4:00 am #111858
AnonymousI was supposed to do the Tuff Truck and winch challenges in the following truck as a navigator, but I got a bit sick, and I decided to pull out in the best interests of the team.
Some shots from a round of the Tuff Truck Challenge.

November 13, 2008 at 8:57 am #112027Computers, Kids, Family, Work, Work and more work.. When I do get a spare moment I
enjoy working on the house, Tinkering in the shed, the occasional Bush Walk, played
soccer for many years but retired last year due to the recovery time getting longer and longer. I did
also use to really enjoy fishing but haven;t been for a long time.. Maybe Tiny should tee up a fishing trip..Cheers
Chris.November 13, 2008 at 9:54 am #112034I spend my spare time p1ss-farting around. Usually looking for things to half-do.
Today I painted the rear half of my poor old toyota because the panel beaters did a crap job last time and it was giving me the irrits. So I decided to fix it and did a sh1t job just like them! I hope cutting compound will fix it!!!
I do things in my spare time that normal people pay tradesmen to do for them. I guess I’m toight@!
