    haha zing zing!

Yeah I’ll just have a punt around sugarloaf if you’d like to join me but it won’t be much.

My brother has a landscaping business and works a lot more hours than I do and he has a couple of youngin’s so I volunteered to do it so it got done ASAP and I’d get the opportunity to learn about it. He’s down in Wollongong with my bike which needs the oil drain bolt helicoiled and hasn’t even gotten around to dropping that off yet. I did another run to KTM Newcastle (broadmeadow) and I’ve bought all of their cheaper oil and had to go around the corner to the wholesaler to get another 4L. I figure the more flushes the better so it’s a worthy investment.

Probably a good idea with the oil mate. I may be able to ride at the weekend, it will have to be open book. I don’t what’s going with cars etc. at the minute so need I’ll have to let you know. PM your moby and I’ll shout you up over the weekend if all’w well :)

I’ll run it for 5minutes down the road tonight and maybe tomorrow then take it to sugarloaf early am this saturday and I’ll just stay within reasonable distance to the car :D I might even take some gear with me and run it for 30minutes then dump it and run it again for another 30 or whatever I have time for.

It doesn’t have any road gear on it so I don’t want to spend too much time on the black top.

Any chance you could merge these posts back into the main thread? If not you can just bin them no worries. ;)

I flogged the bloody kicker for about 30 minutes trying to get it going tonight and it had me beat – almost anyway. I pushed the choke in and gave it two kicks and she fired up and purred 👿 B)

took it for a run and its sounding and running great so Ive dropped the oil again and will take another load of oil through it tomorrow then a full run saturday.

Good luck on the big ride, sounds as though its going ok, will keep my fingers crossed and be interested to see the amount of water / moisture that comes out after its been hot

    Cheers ;)

I’ve been doing my best to keep each dump separate and in a clear container so I can take a pic of it but I’ll have to get some more because I’ve filled them all!

Will mechanics take your old oil or do you have to pay to dump it at the tip?

The good fellas at KTM Newcastle were kind enough to lend me a spark plug tool since they didn’t have one they could sell to me so I went at it tonight. If you guys got to see my current work shed you’d laugh your arses off but its what I’ve got at the moment so I have to laugh. Its wide enough to get the bike in and just close the door but you couldn’t switch sides then and theres enough room to squat down on either side of the bike but that’s really tight.

    Here’s what I’m whinging about :P
