No I didn’t have to give up smoking again to get the 450, Kylie just really wanted the 250R me thinks.
I think I will practice starting it and getting it to move forward without stalling before I bring it out on an Old Bull ride.
Champo I might pass on tomorrows outing so I can work on the above.

I know what you are like my man, very:P excitableJune 6, 2009 at 7:37 am #138386No worries Dan, I am planning a local ride in the coming weeks. It’s out near Seaham at what used to be called Uffington state forest, now called Coolaroy SF although it’s still Uffington on Google. I have ridden out there a few times before, once with a group that new there way around and then by myself just plodding about.
I was out there today trying to learn my way around well enough to lead a group. There are fire trails, twin and single trails, creek crossings, some nice hill climbs and some really nice erosion mound jumps. There is also a track laid out with a few small jumps and berms that have been built by someone, it track crosses back and forth across a creek a few times but there are a few trees blocking part of it. There is also a big flat grassed area just near the track so that those that don’t want to do it can play on the grass working on some skills or maybe try grass tracking.June 6, 2009 at 8:03 am #138414DanD wrote:

June 6, 2009 at 11:28 am #138465Really Dan Dgive
if you did up smoking then the $s saved could really assist in making the new fiddy really pump along, there would also be other benifits involved but hey who cares about health… lolJune 6, 2009 at 12:08 pm #138494Congrats to DanD for the new bike. what’s the go with straying from fuel injection Dan? And Kylie congrats on your new fuel injected bike.
Now TB – did you make DanD kick start the 450
a)for a laugh
b)cause all yamaha 450s need to be kick started on a cold morning as the battery is to small
c)on a 40 degree + day when the bike stalls on a hard hill and he forgets about the hot start button and has to kick it like a bastard to get it stated.Dan – get yourself sorted with the bike and come riding with me and murph next weekend. he says we’re not going to the place you guys went last weekend.
