Hey Guys, whats the best single mod you have done to improve your bike, mine would have to be fitting the 300kit.
Big performance increase over the 250..

    Chris.

Getting rid of the stock bars and fitting the Fatbars and risers to the XR600.
Closely followed by the Flat slide Mikuni.
These two mods have made a completely new bike out of it.:woohoo:

Ok Ok really, there is so many

Steering Damper would have to be up there!

Mousse tubes (dont have to carry levers, tubes pumps etc)

Yes Mick fat tall bars make the world of difference to any bike

Chris’s 300 kit and exhaust made that into a bike (no postman jokes now)

Having you suspension set up correctly makes any bike ( but not KTM ) just so much better (nothing makes a KTM better, cant make strawberry jam from pig s*%t)

Rekluse clutch and trials tyre. A great combination for a really lazy, old, unfit rider.

yep on the WR450,definatley the Rekluse clutch, closely followed by the JD jetting kit.
on the RMX it was getting the power striker carb, procircuit pipe and stinger and the WER steering damper helped bigtime also.

    Ollie,

Yep. The halcyon days. Circa 1980. This was the stock standard KDX175 B1, prior to becoming the “full factory” KDX/KX hybrid.
I don’t condone riding and pulling a mono without wearing any safety gear, but in the backyard and I actually have on my red ISDE socks that I won at a Geoff Ballard riding school, for the Encouragement Award. I think that meant that I couldn’t ride for shit, but would die trying.

    Ollie, by the way, it’s Nigel….not nick:laugh:
