AnonymousI noticed that the from the top 8 places for each of the E1, E2 and E3 categories there are only 3 Honda’s. There are almost as many TM’s there! There are also Gas Gas’s, Huskies etc.
So, why aren’t there more Honda’s there being such a major manufacturer and all?
Struck me as interesting…..

AnonymousOf the top 19 ‘Pro’s’ that finished the red Bull Romaniacs last year there wasn’t even a single Honda. There were 9 Ktm’s though with their inferior PDS, it’s amazing they got round one of the worlds toughest courses with such inferior suspension

AnonymousThis has got me on a roll so I should also note that in the 2009 Erzberg there wasn’t a Honda in the top 10. I don’t know where the highest position Honda was as I only saw the top ten spots of which KTM occupied four.
December 10, 2009 at 11:43 pm #164850what’s wrong with honda, is it starts with H and ends in a
dunno Moto, rider poaching by other brands?
team member changes, i.e. mechanics, tuners, team manager? creating team disharmony .
the fact they don’t use PDS suspension?

circumstances out side of rider ability and or mechanical failure? e.g. getting sick while competing-flu, food poisoning, adverse weather etc. etc.
maybe that all small bore Honda’s suck? – under 500cc excluding the CRM 250 2T.

AnonymousThere’s 3 Honda’s in the XC1 Pro Class at the GNCC too, they finished 45th, 43rd and 11th out of 48 competitors.

AnonymousBen Grabbham and Brad ‘Wonka’ Williscroft took the top 2 spots at Finke, don’t know what bikes the others were riding and can’t be arsed to find out but the top 2 were Orange.

AnonymousThe last ‘Red Bull Last Man Standing’ was taken out by the Knighter on Orange machine with Braybrook being the only other rider to finish the event on a Gas Gas.

AnonymousYeah, sorry, my mistake, I changed my post, should have said Australian Safari.
There’s not many Honda’s at the pointy end of the AORC either although they dominate the Baja 1000.
I just wondered with all the poo that goes on here with KTM what the Honda boys are revving us up about when they are getting beaten by KTM all the time.
Maybe that’s why
