    i have purchased bearings from this place. the prolever link and swing arm for the 640, landed at my door for less than 1/2 what the dealers want for ‘genuine’.

    that link takes you straight to their search, you use the drop down menus to find what bearings with a particular inner diameter and width is available in a particular outer diameter.

    If it flogs out again I’ll just use more pieces of feeler gauge or some thicker gauge. Pretty bodgy but bodgy is my middle name. ;)

    Get a head re-conditioner to weld it up and machine it back. $100, surely.

    my fix isn’t really that dodgey, no worse then using aluminium shims and best of all its cheap, I get the feeler gauge for free

    yeah i have to admit it did take 3 weeks. but if you plan ahead you can $ave quite a bit ;)
