My fork oil is 15 months old and has done 4500 hard ks, two weeks ago all was good but last weekend i noticed excessive deflection ,huge tank slap and a few washouts , it is really sketchy. A mate said replace the oil.
could oil deterioate that quickly [in the space of one week] or is it more likely there is something else going on??
    cheers ev

Don’t know about the forks, but I got my shock serviced after 4 years and the difference was very noticeable, I seem to get a blown fork seal once or twice a year so the oil gets changed then.

Check the head stem bearings and front wheel bearings

Suspension specialists recommend every 40 hrs I think it is EV. You will notice a huge difference like LC said
