Anonymousmost don’t race those bikes
most people who buy this stuff just want people to respect them or just so people would look at them
i would respect them more if they did something positive with there moneydo harley riders tend to put loud exhausts on their bikes to make people notice them? it still dosen’t make them happy though. they seem cranky. i give them a wave anyway at times to cheer them up:)
note: the author has been known to ride a harley at times

AnonymousBit like the guys at Sofala pub when we were on our Hillend ride with the bad ass Ducati. They can buy what they want, it’s their money. It’s just funny when you see them ‘having a go’ and I could probably keep up in the Suby
Harley riders are different ball game altogether. I’ve never ridden one but have been on one (bitch stylee). I would quite like to tour the coastline of Australia on a chopper/custom bike. That would be pretty cool. Anyone else want to came? We can be bandido’s?

oh. umm.. somthing about when you ride a ktm or something
February 16, 2009 at 12:19 am #122680I like rounding up the week end warrior hypersport riders on the Oxley highway on the XR.I can’t catch em all but it must come as a shock to those that I do, when I go past em knobbies and all.
I know the road like the back of my hand as I rode it every weekend for about a year on my GPZ1100.
The lines they take crack me up.February 16, 2009 at 1:36 am #122686i took the kato out on the streets yesterday and totally whipped a bloke on a sportster…
must have really pissed him off, i saw him give me the finger in my mirror..
what a wanker he was

AnonymousI can slide the Kato rear end on the black stuff with knobbies on. I haven’t really tried it too much though as I’m too old and sensible without having some decent protective gear on.
February 16, 2009 at 3:37 am #122701Most roadriders can’t ride outa sight because they started too late and on the wrong surface to really learn to ride competently, the ex dirt boys are easy to spot, they tend to have the elbows up and fingers hovering over clutch and brake levers, plus they don’t paddle around like ex-scooter jockeys. Tend to still scrape the pegs when on tar transport meself on the YZ.
When you ride a KTM you still ride like a girl, yeah a girl.

AnonymousYou can scrape the pegs on the YZ on knobbies? My tyre loses traction before I could get that far over….
That’s why I reckon the motard set-up would be the shiz..

you wouldnt believe how much spray comes of the front tyre with no guard!February 22, 2009 at 10:33 am #123358When you ride a KTM you end up base-over-apex upside down in a puddle! Just ask Patto! (See my Clarence ride report today!)
