TB I publicly challenge the lot of you to show where per ca pita of bikes sold how many wins that manufacturer has, and I think you will find the trillions of Hondas sold and the relative handful of wins is a really bad batting average, where as the lower numbers of KTM’s sold and the huge wins would have to put them up there with the best winningest bikes ever made.
Who has the best averages so far,KTM, and if KTM had the market penetration of your beloved dinosaurs then the podiums would be orange full time rather than just most of the time, can’t argue with maths my friend:laugh:

So in simple speak for the Yamaha riders, Bikes sold versus wins attained- world wide, any disciplines, What bike wins the most in relation to the numbers of units sold….Ha Ha Ha try and win that Honda boy, he who says they sell the most in the world:laugh:

It could be argued the reason there are so many Honda’s sold worldwide is because they win so often.

WTF, now ive let myself be dragged into this shity brand loyalty debate.:(

it could be argued that way but they dont win enough for the trillions sold

damn straight Rat, thers only one reason Honda have sold the most bikes….

its called the ‘CT90″. thats right, the fuckin posty bike.

or if your really “big boned” like the Honda hero’s on this
site then you can opt for the “big block” CT110.

cant say ive seen many podium finishes on those putt putts!!

your’e living proof of Darwins theory…..

    look….

Charles Darwin simply brought something new to the old philosophy — a plausible mechanism called “natural selection.”
Natural selection acts to preserve and accumulate minor advantageous genetic mutations, like PDS.
Suppose a member of a species developed a functional advantage (it brought a KTM). Its offspring would inherit that advantage and pass it on to their offspring.
The inferior (honda riding) members of the same species would gradually die out, leaving only the superior (KTM loving) members of the species.
Natural selection is the preservation of a functional advantage that enables a species to roost better in the wild. Jap bikes are the naturalistic equivalent to domestic
    in-breeding with your cousins.
Over the centuries, KTM riders have produced dramatic changes in domestic populations by selecting the hottest chicks to shag, and actually getting to bump uglies with them.
KTM pilots self eliminate undesirable traits gradually over time. Similarly, natural selection eliminates inferior japanese bikes gradually over time.

That was a funny one

Actually I believe that KTM riders are more in line with the “Intelligent Design” theory of evolution. This theory states that there are some features (eg PDS) that have to have been created by an “íntelligent cause” and not by random natural selection. Unfortunately, Intelligent design has been ruled to be thinly disguised creationism by the US courts and as such it is unconstitutional to be taught in schools.

The hole in the theory of Intelligent Design is, of course, that anyone (other than a KTM devotee) can see that these so-called certain features (eg PDS) were actually “invented” by Bozo the clown while on a drunken and chrystal meth induced stupor.

Devotees of the Intelligent Design theory have an unreasonable belief in their KTM’s and no logic or alternative theories can be allowed to exist in their world. Often, they gather in groups, dressed in orange, holding JE pistons and chanting at airports. Police generally allow this behaviour, unless violence erupts.

While Darwinism is a theory that is able to be substantiated, there is no scientific basis for the Intelligent Design (ID) theory. ID uses arguments such as the “irreducible complexity” of KTM’s to explain that these machines are too complex to have appeared by “natural selection”.

Behe defines “irreducible complexity” as “a single system which is composed of several well-matched interacting parts that contribute to the basic function, wherein the removal of any one of the parts causes the system to effectively cease functioning”. Others define it as simply: “a KTM”

i smell some internet plajerism (spelling?) theres no way you know that many big words Ecksman!!!!!
