menace im an outside chance of making this ride but wont know until the wednesday beforehand.Both mine and the wifes work conflict with the date but im trying to work it out.

Don’t know what I’m doin yet, i’ve got 5 days off thanks to ETU agreement. Missus doesn’t want to go anywhere so I could finish up anywhere. Bike still needs a bit of work after Wombat and still haven’t installed the kickstarter on the DR so will see how motivated I get on the weekend.

Where are we going anyway is it in the direction of home bound journey? That would be thoughtful

TB is staying here thursday.
he will be going to the Van friday. we will go up early if i can get out of work or i will give him the key and i’ll go after work.

if i can get out of work friday we will do a good old glenmaggie ride, if not we will go for a blast when i get there….sometime between 4 and 6.

saturday will be the epic walhalla adventure.

it WILL NOT be for the faint hearted.
it includes the ridge decent of DEATH!
the snaking river single from HELL!
and 2 big arse crossings of the Thomson River.
there will be the standard glenmaggie erosion jumps

i want everyone to prepare their bikes and themselves for anything we could possibly break, snap, kill, puncture, wound, maim or destroy :huh:

we will be doing this ride come hell or high weather :laugh: :laugh:
i dont care if it snows :laugh: :laugh: we’re still doing it!

i want everyone to carry a tube and a spark plug…..please

WE WILL NEED ENOUGH FUEL FOR 120KM++

so bring a 2lt coke bottle or the like….for fuel.

and make sure you fuel up on the way as we will be on the bikes at 8.30AM at the latest.

i have done this ride a few times and have had 2 different riders “destroy themselves to the point of meltdown status”…..
one where we were thinking of calling the chopper :dry:
