I run my gopro upside down under my V3 visor and find that its great there. Judging by the way the V3 parachutes at speed I’d say the visor sits higher than most helmets though. I’ve got a pic on my camera I’ll just have to find the memory card reader and I’ll post.

Finally got around to uploading this picture!!! I think it looks as though it’d be a nuisance in my field of view but I don’t notice it up there.

I picked up a 12 months old second hand VHoldr (not the ContourHD) a few weeks back and so far so good. I did need to get new cards and a new battery but the quality of the video is very good from my perspective.

The Camera mounted on the helmet.

Some of the videos are at the links below (they are on Youtube as well but YT always stuff quality)

The VHoldr is not cheap by any means though and I believet he HD is around $500+

Hey Jak, I have the same camera and was considering mounting the same way but I thought the videos might come out upside down, do you have to do anything to stop that or doea the camera automatically adjust.

Its pretty easy to program (idiot proof really). You program it depending on which way your camera is, right way up or upside down. Takes about 10 seconds to do.

Although in saying its idiot proof i had mine set on camera instead of video for the weekend ride and so i got a photo every three seconds until the memory ran out. About 1100 pictures.    :S

You can see the quality of the photos in my ride report at Paddys with the GoPro on top of the helmet.

    Very happy though with mine.

It’d be nice to think the price would’ve dropped with the dollar going up. You’re welcome to borrow mine till the new year if you like moto I doubt I’ll be riding until around new years.

Cheers Trent. I doubt I’ll be riding much, although I’d be keen for a burn between Chrizza and New Year.

I might ask Santa for one…….

Menace and a few others have bought the new Go-pros from Mal at Sutto’s, you could ring for an updated Old Bull price

Spoke to Mal at Sutto’s and he said that they have 3 in stock. When they get replaced the price may change.

The current three are available to Old Bulls at the handsome price of $349 reduced from an RRP of $389.

There’s likely only to be 3 left shortly as i will probably take one.

Cheers for the offer but I’ll probably get it early December. Depending on how things work out I may even go and get it myself.
