    I went to store to buy a program, it was $99 at the time.
    After talking to the sales guy we quickly figured out that my laptop wouldn’t cope and i needed a new one. After I agreed to buy a $2500 new laptop he was kind enough to throw pinnacle in for free :whistle:
    Not sure about the newer versions but I reckon I probably only use about 30% of what it can do.
    Looking at the output side of the program you can output to a file (instead of a disc) if you want in MP4 so I’m sure you would be able to import in MP4

    I know what you mean about Sydney mate, I now live only 8 kms from work and normally takes me about 12 mins each way :)
    not lucky enough to be able to ride singles on my way to work and again on the way home like some :(

    Well I have made a movie. :woohoo:
    Ended up using Cyberlink Power Direct
    Bit of a learning curve and only have to put some tunes over it to finish it properly
    My next challenge will be to make a short movie of only a couple of minutes and share it with you good people

    Have made a short 5 minute clip and have also signed up with youtube
    How long does it take to upload a 5 minute clip????
    My computer timed out and switched off way before anything was uploaded
    Will try again but if it takes too long I will give up

    It depends on a few things Murph. HD will take longer and the speed of your computer, modem and the internet service all have a bearing.

    I have had HD movies take overnight to upload. The Wauchope Trailer took about an hour I think.

    I usually turn off all other programs when it is taking too long including the screen saver.

    Adjust your power setting as well so that it doesn’t turn itself off or go into hybernation and just turn the screen off if you want to save power.
