had a good long think about the initial question,Which OBT’er would you like to meet/ride with? How do you put that gauging from every other old bull I have met,(thats a few now) I really dont have just one person I recon would be good to ride with or meet, rather I enjoy the anticipation of meeting new old bulls when I travel to organised rides.
That is what keeps my old bull spirit high and my keeness for rides fueled.

The best place on these rides (bar the trails) is the ever growing Old bulls ring of knowledge..(they are an expierence on their own.

    Boony

+1, Cant wait to sit around your/old bulls ring of knowledge so I can become very learned

Lets recap your tyre changing skills Ollie :P Try and remove the tyre without letting the air out  (Dungog). Try and stick patches on without taking the backing off  (Bulls) Pinch the tube after sorting the patch out  (Bulls)

But Boony if you dont do it yourself you cant criticize, years ago I once changed a tyre at home and then went riding down in Hatto’s territory got a rear flat, couldnt find my 2nd lever, bloke turns up use his levers and guess what I found in the back tyre. Yup my 2nd lever

Id like to see that

    Ollie

Fair call on my tyre changing abilities :( I didnt say I liked doing it just do it for the circle of knowledge entertainment value

Shouldn’t been to much stress remember Ollie is a well seasoned veteran of many a race, some drunks around a fire would be nothing to the stress of a flat during a race which again he would have had dealt with seeing he is a very very seasoned veteran

Yes Ollie is a gun Tyre changer, I have seen him in action, here is a pic of him at the very moment he realised he had left the foil on the patch. :S

    Any particular reason TB?

I like Mr Dastardleys on-screen persona, like a breath of fresh air, and whomever he is, I takes me hat off to him he runs rings around my knowledge base.
I suspect he’s someone who has owned a prominent bike related business, and has been around the Competition arena for many a year.

There was another Bloke here that was incognito as well, I believe he was a prominent Bike racer of the 70s and 80s and mayhaps imports a very popular brand, but when I alluded to it, he disappeared and hasn’t returned.

Bugger too, cause he is actually a top Bloke.
