In the near future I will be making a purchase of a new dual sport bike, the brand is yet to be 100% finalised but a Tenere is in the finalist. As I have limited contact with Yamaha dealers now days does someone have a dealer they recommend. I am prepared to travel so thats not an issue.
Thanks in advance

May 17, 2010 at 10:29 am #179393Could give you a long list of dealers I don’t like
I’m still searching for one I”m happy with.
Bought the last WR’s from Lithgow, Easy deal.
Slammed the door on our heels as we pushed the bikes out the door.
May 17, 2010 at 10:43 am #179400Can’t say any of the Yammy dealers I have been to within cooee of here impress me TB. The guy who bought my bike new was from Forbes and went to Red Baron to get it… I wouldn’t know Red Baron from a bar of soap, but if he went that far it says a lot about the local options I reckon.
Good luck!
May 17, 2010 at 10:51 am #179402I have heard good things of Chris Watson at Cessnock. I bought my bike from him and he was very helpful and gave what I thought was a good deal with extra’s thrown in.
I have heard that people travel a long way to deal with him due to the good deals he does.May 17, 2010 at 10:57 am #179404Actually now that Jeffro mentions that, I recall that a couple of mates have gone through Chris Watson in Cessnock. Delivery was free, bikes came pretty well set up. I’d recommend giving them a call anyway.
May 17, 2010 at 10:58 am #179405Thanks Jeffro I hadn’t thought of Chris Watson’s, cheers will throw them in the mix for sure

May 17, 2010 at 11:13 am #179408Hey TB would you have the 2009 june/july trailzone?
was flicking through it at the doc’s today, they had a set up 08/09 XTZ 660 R ( ??? i think) was set up by some Kiwi tune mob, not get to read the whole thing, but looked good.
pretty sure it was an XT 660 R. after searching.
here is a brand new 08 XT 660 R, at Bikebiz Parramatta
May 17, 2010 at 11:14 am #179409I think the Guys on Sunnyholt Rd at Blacktown are the ones my brother uses and he buys a couple of bikes a year. I think they are called Team Moto now but they were called Frettens back when I lived in the Druitt. He raves on about the deals he gets through them.
